The Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner is an individual with the training of preventive healthcare, nutrition, lifestyle pathology & disease management through traditional Ayurvedic medical science principles and practices.
In order to take the Ayurvedic Health Counselor exam the following requirements must be accomplished first:
- Complete the Educational Requirements of 1500-2500 hours as laid out in the AP Educational Outline for Competencies. Download AP Outline →
- Provide proof of education that meets the guideline standards.
- Full payment of $450 due at time of registration. (Currently during beta phase the price of the exam is $97 for a short time)
- If you would like to become a member of NAMA after you take the official exam (with the fee of $450) a $100 credit will be applied to your membership fees. NAMA website →
