IMPORTANT!  Your NAMACB certificate includes your NAMACB-certified status.  However, it is important to know that the NAMACB is a certification board and does not confer titles.  You are advised to check with your home state’s laws and regulations regarding the use of titles including that of  “Doctor”.

The Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor is a professional trained to focus on preventive healthcare as well as heath promotion with a specific focus on diet and lifestyle through traditional Ayurvedic medical science principles and practices.

 


Board certification Exam PREREQUISITES

To take the National Ayurvedic Health Counselor Board Certification Exam the following requirements must be accomplished first:

  • Full payment of exam is $385 paid in two parts.
    Non-refundable application fee is:
    $75 - Recognized Program
    $200 - Non - Recognized

  • Once your application is accepted, the remaining $310 is due at time of registration.

  • For the newly board certified, if you would like to become a Professional Member of NAMA after you pass the exam a $100 credit will be applied to your first year’s Professional Membership dues. NAMA website →

In order to sit for the NAMACB certification exams, candidates must comply with these minimal standards.


Board certification Exam INFORMATION

  • The exam holds approximately 90 questions.

  • All questions are multiple choice.

  • Test takers have 150-minutes to complete the exam.

  • The exam is available on-site and on-line. For on-site exams, there are multiple locations available internationally. For on-line exams, you may take it at home, but must meet specific technical and security requirements.
